Lawrenceburg City Administrator Chris Shaffer says city leaders are excited about the opportunity to bring a unique recreational activity to Scout Park and Hope Springs Park.
The city has partnered with avid disc golfer Josh Braswell and others to develop the two, nine-hole courses. Shaffer says the courses should attract visitors to the city and provide a great, outdoor activity for citizens. He added that the parks provide a beautiful, natural setting for players. Both are currently located in flood plains, which limits the ability to build in or otherwise develop the areas.

The City of Lawrenceburg Sanitation Department wishes to advise citizens that leaves are to be placed in plastic bags for pick up by the Department. No leaves are to be placed in the gutter, over a storm drain or in the street. You may place bagged leaves and brush together in your yard near the curb or street.
We wish to thank everyone for your assistance in keeping the storm drains and gutters clear. Clear gutters help prevent flooding of your property and your neighbor’s property during heavy rains.
