In this present year, the Singapore MRT Map consist of 91 stations which includes five different routes. The five colored lines are Red, Green, Purple, Yellow and Blue. Some of this color are represented by different cardinal directions. Such as:

The green line is the second course created in Singapore MRT map. Travelling through every major part of Singapore, the East-West line is currently the most widely used line in Singapore. From the east end of Singapore(Pasir Ris) to the west end of singapore(Joo Koon), the train on this line is catered to be 2 mins apart during peak hours.

This is the first course created for Singapore MRT map. Travelling from Yio Chu Kang to Toa Payoh, it is then later extended to the heart of Singapore (Marina Bay) and the west end of Singapore (Jurong East).

This is the fifth course created for Singapore MRT system. This direction aims to travel to every corner of both north west as well as east of Singapore.

The North-East Line starts to develop the first planning of the MRT construction starting from Toa Payoh until Yio Chu Kang and second further planning being extended until Raffles Place from Toa Payoh onwards to both Khatib and Yishun from Yio Chu Kang starting from 1980s. The East-West Line first started to plan for construction of the MRT station from City Hall to Outram Park and stretch until Clementi one year later and Lakeside two years later and also to Boon Lay only another three years later. The reason why the MRT planning and construction first started from Toa Payoh because Toa Payoh is the first development area to develop from both squatter settlements and kampong houses living in an unhygienic condition into Housing Development Board (HDB) and has lots of residents living in the HDB flats around Toa Payoh area on the northern part location of Singapore and also held the official opening at Toa Payoh MRT station on 5 November 1987. The East-West Line will also be stretched until Pasir Ris from the central part to eastern part location of Singapore and planned another two years later and then proceed to construct on the MRT construction project. The North-South Line will also be stretched and extended from Yishun until Choa Chu Kang during the 1990s due to an undeveloped area on the North-South Line extension and these four MRT stations located on the western part of Singapore from Jurong East to Choa Chu Kang being operational only on March 1990. The North-East Line is the first fully automated underground MRT station being planned starting from 1995 and stretched from our current port harbor of Singapore located near HarbourFront to the developed farmhouses at Punggol starting to build from 1997 until the operational on June 2003 to a technical fault on the MRT track during the North-East Line MRT train electrical signaling and testing. The Circle Line started to plan another two years later into five separate stages running in the heart city of Singapore which caused more convenience to the residents living around the area without any MRT station in the past times. The Circle Line started to build both the first and second stage from 2001, third stage in 2002 and the final two stages in the late 2005 and is the second fully automated underground MRT station of Singapore. The Downtown Line is the third fully automated underground MRT station with three different stages running in different directions starting from 2006 and shall be elaborated to you later. The first stage runs in the central heart location of Singapore while the second stage runs from the north-west until central part location of Singapore and the third stage runs from the central until eastern part location of Singapore.
