Aside from distilleries, Scotland is home to the Scotch Malt Whisky Society which located in the seaside town of Leith on the outskirts of Edinburgh proper and a stone’s throw from Scottish Parliament. At the Scotch Malt Whisky Society members and their guests can sample the best single cast malts in a private club atmosphere surrounded by unmarked casks of the world’s finest whiskies.
