With the intention of trying out a new Chinese place, and hearing rave reviews from a few friends. almost 2 years back was when i first visited this place.
The difference between this restaurant and other Chinese restaurants is that they serve authentic Asian food. and while having the food. this experience is what draws it apart: the no Indian feel. Dont fret, their dishes are extremely appealing to the Indian palate.
I wouldn't say I have had the best first experience here, but their service and taste seem to be getting better with every visit.
Had gone for a quick lunch and though we were 3 extremely hungry stomachs, we got full in 2 starters and 2 mocktails.
The hakka cottage cheese had an incredibly generous quantity of super soft paneer tossed in a slightly sweet hakka sauce- it just melts in your mouth.
Ditching the traditional steamed dumplings, when we decided to go for the fried ones, we surely did not regret our decision.
The other starters that I have tried and loved here are the cigar rolls (must must try when you visit this place ), the water chestnut corn in hongkong style and the butter garlic prawns
The watermelon based blushing bride was extremely refreshing and you can easily make out that it had been freshly made.
The quantity, like in any other Chinese restaurant, is huge and henceforth you will end up ordering lesser than you intend to.
The three sauces served in the beginning can become a course in itself - all 3 are delectable enough to be had by itself.
Overall a great place with very good service, for a nice family lunch or some quite intimate time with friends.
