Tonight I decided to root my G3 (ver. D850 10f). First I rooted using stump and created a custom recovery using TWRP. I then downloaded a CM12 nightly build and transferred it to my SD card. Mistakenly, I unzipped the CM12 folder before transferring and proceeded to boot from TWRP into "bootloader". My phone is now stuck at the "LG Life's Good" startup screen. I can enter download mode but not recovery mode. Any suggestions? I'm currently using this guide to hopefully fix it: http://www.androidrootz.com/2014/07/how-to-unroot-lg-g3-all-variants.html
Morning Update: I followed the steps in the guide. LG Flash Tool gives me an error "Can't change to download mode" 00000064
Update 2: While trying to use the LG PC suite method, I installed new drivers but my phone now shows up as "unknown device" in device manager and the "ports COM and LPT" option is now gone LG PC Suite now gives me an error: Cannot run upgrade. Check mobile device status and retry. My phone gets stuck at 0% on the firmware update screen when in download mode.
Final Update: Got it to work! I took out the battery and put the phone back into download mode. While starting my macbook to download mac drivers and LG suite, I turned back to see the flash tool working with port41 on my phone's firmware update screen. While the flash tool finished with download fail. my phone had the big 3 on the screen and everything works now. I'm now trying to see if TWRP will have my backup still or if i need to start all over.
