You dont get changes to use those than when animal is at long specific range and doesnt move for long time and you can spend from quarter hour to hour to reposition yourself to optimal place.

You will be more often too close than too far and you cant do anything for it then than move or change.

The only best option would be 150-400mm or 150-450mm that offers the freedom and changes as being too close isnt option with primes (try 75mm f/1.8 in indoors and you get the point) in wild life, why 200mm would be better but we already have 56-210mm f/4.

At those ranges f/5.6 is widest usually acceptable for wildlife in european forests for moving subjects like birds. And f/8 would be unaccetable.

So the aperture would need to be f/2.8 and cost fortune or f/4 and be accetable. As with TC14 you get f/4 or f/5.6.

But then we have 40-150mm f/2.8 working as 80-300mm f/5.6 and now we are again in the product range of 75-300mm f/4.5-6.3 with possible same image quality because we have TC20 in use vs designed.

As otherwise you need to miss photo or carry a second body with 40-150mm and miss again the photo because didnt have the needed magnification. So waste of money for two bodies and two expensive objectives.

I use 300, 500 and 800mm lenses on m4/3. No problem and no, I don't want zoom's Most probably do, but I'll take a prime over a zoom any day. That's a personal thing.

Just because we use long focal lengths doesn't mean we shoot a long way off, we don't, we actually use long focal lengths as close distances of up to around 30 - 80 mtrs. Generally a lot closer than that. Even with an 800mm on m4/3, the further off in distance you shoot, the less details show up, so there is no point in shooting a long way off. That's not what long focal lengths are used for, well not here anyway.
