Zaz-966 «Zaporozhets» is the soviet passenger car especially small class. Development of new model of car began in Zaporizhzhya practically simultaneously with rising on the conveyer of Zaz-965 in 1960 - in spring 1961. In November of the same year a pre-production model was shown on ENEA.
